Apple Cider Pheasant

Ingredients

    pheasants, quartered
  • 1 1⁄2
    t
    salt
  • 2
    cn
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1
     
    chopped onion
  • 1
    c
    apple cider
  • 2
     
    cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 1⁄2
    T
    worchestershire sauce
  • 8
    oz
    mushrooms cliced
  •  
     
    paprika

Instructions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place pheasant quaraaters in ungreased deep baking dish. Mix soup, cider, Worchestershire sauce, salt, onion, garlic and mushrooms; pour over pheasant. Sprinkle generously with paprika.

Cool, uncovered, spooning sauce over pheasant occasionally, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until done. After cooking pheasant for 1 hour, sprinkle generously again with paprika.
